Admission Requirements

Admission Requirements
  1. The admission requirements for entrance to graduate studies in Nutritional Sciences are as follows:
    1. A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
    2. One semester of Organic Chemistry
    3. One semester of General Biochemistry
    4. Two semesters of Anatomy and Physiology
    5. One semester of Statistics
    6. One semester of Human Nutrition
  2. Applicants must submit official transcripts of all university course work.
  3. Graduate Record Examination (GRE) general test scores must be submitted.
  4. Applicants will submit a resume that includes a statement of academic and/or professional goals and objectives.
  5. Applicants will submit three letters of recommendation in support of their application. These letters should be from persons familiar with the applicant's professional or academic career and potential for graduate study.
  6. Two criteria will be used to evaluate an applicant's admission into the program:
    1. The qualifications of the applicant.
    2. Availability of a faculty advisor to serve as mentor.
